i have worn glasses since 2nd grade, and contacts since 5th. my vision finally plateaued at 20/800. after several years of being terrified of losing all vision to technological advances and just sticking little discs onto my eyeballs and forgoing peripheral vision when i didn't do that, i finally caved to the LASIK.yesterday, i woke up with 20/800 vision. today, i woke up with 20/20 vision. my day began with a lyft driver that lost his poo when i told him my kid was named after letters to cleo, followed by a life change over a conversation about the longest crush i've ever had (trent reznor), and ended with pizza and a gin martini with a twist alongside my partner and progeny.i'm truly in awe of what has happened to my sight and how it's even possible to erase a literal blurred outlook in - 10 MINUTES.if you are contemplating this, or need a reco, go see dr. tremblay. I CAN SEE.
