I have never written a review for a company before and needed my daughter's help setting up this account but found it absolutely necessary to let people know how incredible I found Dr. Tremblay and Mann Eye Institute to be. From the moment I came in at my initial visit being greeted by 3 lovely receptionists at the front desk (Regina helped me with the check in stand as she saw I was struggling as a 65+ year old man!) I was then taken to testing by a kind woman named Rebecca who was knowledgeable and patient with me, as I am hard of hearing. The testing is efficient and in depth, but Rebecca answered all of the questions I had and when she may not have had an answer, she directed me to ask the doctor, who I was able to meet that day. I was then sat to dilate for about 20 minutes (I was told about how long the wait would be by Rebecca, I was also offered water while I waited). I was then called into a different room by a kind woman named Anne (who shares a name with my wife, which we laughed about the proper spelling of). Then entered Dr. Tremblay, who was one of the most kind and personable doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I was surprised to know he would be the doctor performing my cataract surgery because I am not used to such bedside manner when talking with a surgeon. We joked about golf and discussed fishing for about 5 minutes as Anne deliberately took notes on my exam to the side and quietly laughed at our cheesy "dad jokes" in a professional fashion. I met with Courtney, my counselor, who was thorough with pricing and understanding of my prior arrangements and needing to schedule my surgery testing and surgery dates a few weeks apart. Courtney was also available when I needed to reschedule my pre surgery testing at a short notice via email. I could go on longer about my incredible experience with this company but I will not. My final note is this: this was my first eye surgery, I was nervous and hesitant to move forward with even the initial visit but upon leaving that visit I could not be more excited to proceed with surgery day. And I am glad I did. I am 20/20 today and see things I haven't seen without glasses in decades. Thank you to Dr. Tremblay and team for all you do. My life has been forever changed.
