When I heard that my 'life was going to be changed' by LASIK, I was skeptical. I have had glasses since I was 2, contacts since I was 14 and at 29 I felt that I had adapted to the consistent (yet very annoying) process of buying expensive contacts, inputting them and taking them out each day, and occasionally losing them or having something get stuck to them.Even as a skeptic, I decided to take a chance and visit Mann Eye to really see if they could convince me that it would be as life changing as possible... not only were they able to do that, they were also able to help me understand how painless of a process it would be, and how quick recovery would be. Mallory, the coordinator I worked with, was so incredibly knowledgeable, funny, understanding and took the time to answer all my questions in a manner that I could easily understand.Thanks to her guidance and her encouragement, I am now 3 weeks post LASIK with no complications other than a dry eye the first week - I have officially rid myself of all my contacts, solution and glasses and am never looking back!!

I had a very good experience from the receptionist, to examination, the doctor, and the counselor who walked me through setting up the 3 upcoming appointments necessary for measuring my eyes, surgery, and Follow-up after surgery. This will be my second cataract surgery and I want to encourage anyone needing it, to do it. I had zero pain and a great recovery. My first cataract surgery in California had me using 3 different drops, so all day long I had to set an alarm to keep them on schedule. At Mann Eye Institute, I was given one bottle that is a 3-in-1 to use morning, noon and night. its easier to do it this way.Sharon Lefler
