The staff at the Mann Eye Institute on Braker are absolutely amazing!! Maryann is the best tech ever; she makes everything so smooth and easy. David and Steph at the front desk take care of everything with such ease. The exams are quick and to the point; Dr. Beavers makes the exams light hearted and relaxing. This is by far the best eye center I have ever been to! Every staff member at this location makes you feel right at home.<br><br>I had Lasik surgery at the south location and I must say it was a piece of cake. They make you very comfortable and relaxed in the surgery room and talk you through the whole surgery. I personally didn't feel anything and less than ten minutes and it is over. The results are wonderful! The next day you are already seeing so much better. I don't know why anyone would wait to have Lasik Eye surgery!

I visited this location last month to get a free Lasik exam. I had always wanted Lasik, but wasn't sure I was a candidate. This location was convenient and the facility itself is very nice. Dr. Baumohl and his staff did an excellent job in explaining the procedure to me. My exam was very thorough and I did not feel rushed at all. My options were explained to me and I felt I had enough details to make an informed decision.The actual surgery takes place at a different facility, but I was happy to hear that all follow ups would be at this location. I decided to have the surgery and it went very well. Returned to see Dr. Baumohl for my one week follow up and again received excellent care. Everyone I encountered at both my visits were friendly and professional. If you have ever considered Lasik or just need new glasses/contacts, I highly recommend paying a Dr. Baumohl a visit.

A friend of mine had a pretty high prescription (negative 10.00), so I figured if she can now see 20/20, I should look into it. My prescription is pretty high at 8.50. Now, I was just crossing my fingers that my cornea was thick enough to have the procedure done.<br><br>Steven, the Refractive Consultant, is wonderful to work with. At Eye Excellence, every appointment made was kept. I never had a long wait. Steven was very thorough in the whole process, which even though is very common - it can still make you nervous.<br><br>Dr. Green and her entire staff were very welcoming and answered all of my questions. The customer service was top notch from beginning to end. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get LASIK.

I was super nervous about getting my lasik procedure done.... I mean come on they are going to slice my eye open. Everyone was really nice, and helped calm my nerves. I woke up this morning and I feel great! Just like they promised.
