After wearing glasses/contacts for 17 years I was thrilled to get LASIK. Mann Eye Institute was highly recommended by a few friends of mine so I decided to choose them for my LASIK procedure. Everything about the process was absolutely Perfect!! Dr. Wright performed the operation and I am amazed at how perfect my vision is. Dr. Wright and the team (Tina & Laurie) in the room made me feel comfortable the whole time and talked me through everything. I was so suprised that Dr. Wright called on a Friday evening to personally make sure I was doing okay AND he was there at 8am on a Saturday for follow up appointments. Even before the operation date everything was great. Ashley & Jamie worked with my busy schedule to make sure I got the appointments scheduled when I needed and also made getting prepared for that day so easy. I am very impressed with everyone at Mann Eye. From the time you walk in the door until you see the Doctor, everyone is friendly, professional and happy to help. I received the most excellent care possible by Dr. Mike Mann and his Staff. I was a bit worried about having cataract surgery but Dr. Mann and all the staff put me at ease and the surgery went quick and pain free. I walked out of the eye center being able to see crystal clear again. I can't Thank Dr. Mann and his staff enough for such a wonderful experience, plus restoring my vision. After thinking about Lasik for years, I finally decided it was time (and got my wife's blessing!) I had already done my research about the mechanics of the procedure, and after reading reviews and talking to several people who had already done it, I decided on Mann Eye Institute. I'm SO GLAD I did!<br><br>The free consultation went smoothly. Kevin answered all my questions about the procedure and the recovery period. I went to the North Austin location for the consultation, so I got to meet Dr. Mark Chavana for the eye exam. He was very professional, personable and relaxed, making the consultation exam and the post-op exams a breeze. <br><br>The day of the procedure, the staff was perfect! Cheerful, and almost more excited about the big day than I was. Someone came out to the waiting area and described the procedure as well as the post-op instructions, easing any nerves I had left. <br><br>Dr. Paul Mann was GREAT!. He answered any final questions I had about the procedure and then described exactly what he was doing and everything that was happening, putting me completely at ease. <br><br>I just had my 1-month post-op exam with Dr. Chavana, and I could read every letter except one on the 20/10 line! No more glasses or contacts!

My brother and I had our bladeless surgery at the south location which was great. Doc Mann even followed up the procedure with a courtesy call himself!<br><br> Love my new eyes BTW, totally worth it. <br><br>Visited the north location for a followup. Very nice facility with the same great staff as the south location. <br><br>Highly recommend both facilities anyone with glasses or contact should seriously consider this solution.
