Beware! Not all of the doctors in his clinic accept the same insurance coverage. Some doctors will perform services that are not covered unless you ask for a different provider. Very confusing. When you question them about it they say that the patient should know - but how? A $50 fee was charged for "Refraction" (eye exam) but would not have been if the doctor had let a different provider in the clinic know do it. Beware! This place will scam you!

Dr. Frantz rendered my mothers eye blind following what should have been routine cataract surgery. She found she had stitches in her eye post laser surgery he said he knew there may have been a complication but yet did nothing to prepare for it and forged ahead. Once her sight returned in that eye we went to another surgeon for the other eye. Same complication but good outcome. Frantz charged more than the insurance paid too and when we wrote for an explanation, our letter was ignored.

First my name is not Donna Thomas and I donr know why that name came up on the page My Name is Pearl Stafford. Because of this man's practice I lost virtually all of the sight in my left eye, that until I went there was correctable to 20/40. I initially saw a Dr Hamilton who wrote a wrong prescription and left me with very high pressure in my eye and told me to come back in three months . When I went back I was told he left to join the circus. That's right folks I wouldn't make it up From then on I saw Dr. Jeffries who at first I thought was interested in making my eye better. They lost visual fields (testings) and I did not know I had damage to my optic nerve until I saw Dr.. Frantz before my cataract surgery on that eye. They are lucky I did not sue, I was told I had a case but I am not a litigious person. I was told by the EXPERTS at Bascom Palmer that this never should have happened. This is obviously a very shortened version of everything that happened to me. Don't go to the practice folks if you value your eye sight. The place is a fiasco and more than once I saw people literally screaming in the waiting room about their treatment. My fault for continuing t o go back. Thay eventually discharged me because I created such a fuss when I woke up one morning and could see nothing, very frightening it was then they refused to see me any more.
