I located this business through the VSP webite. Frantz EyeCare must have an issue with malpractice lawsuits. Their policy is that they will not provide service, even for a basic exam, unless I signed documentation pertaining to and restricting the conditions of lawsuits against them. Completely un-related to patient care or HIPAA. I have never been asked to sign this type of documentation before during any type of doctor or specialist visit, let alone getting a vision prescription updated. I refused to sign, and they refused to see me. I'll take my business back to Costco, where they don't plan to injure you while fitting you for a pair of glasses. I of course encourage Frantz EyeCare to respond and set me straight on their policy if I have misunderstood it.
