So far I have only had a cataract consultation which was very informative and detailed. However, I was told that the actual surgery must take place in Houston and Im waiting to hear if another Mann doctor does surgery here in Katy before I decide to go ahead.

Have not visited this Eye Doctor for a while in Texas. Very accessible. Staff was very professional and helpful. Dr. Tan and his assistant were very helpful. Dr. Tan explained all the procedures and expectations. Celeste was very professional and knowledgeable. Cost of glasses is a shocker. Make sure you have insurance especially if you are on a fixed income!

I appreciate the staff expertise with AMD and trying to fit me for glasses.I would prefer upgraded technology because my eyes remained dilated most all day.

Employees and staff were very nice and considerate.I am on Medicare and had cataract surgery for both eyes. There was a consultation fee of $385, and I specifically asked the woman at the front desk if I would be charged anything else and she said; that was it. I suppose she thought I mean in the doctors office.I was never informed of the surgery facility use fee of $250 + $35 co pay which was charged when I went in each time for each eye surgery.I can understand the charge; I just like to know what I am going to be charged and that is why I asked. I looked through the paperwork and didnt see it in the paperwork either other than that I would pay any unpaid balance.The surgeries went great and I am happy about that. I just feel I should have been unformed of these charges prior to the day of the surgery.If someone can show me where I was given that information I will stand corrected.
