This was my first visit to the Sugarland office - I usually go to the Medical Center facility. The front desk staff were efficient but not particularly friendly. This surprised me but maybe it was a off day. Then I was given my tests by Luis - great eye tech. He was professional, friendly and took extra care due to my light sensitivity. Dr. Jhaver was wonderful as she always is. She knew immediately that there had been a slight change and knew exactly how to correct it. Also, gave me suggestions for some other things that would help and a referral for something should I need or want it. Ive been with Dr. Jhaver for over 20 years and she always leads me in the right direction. Overall, between Luis and Dr. Jhaver, my appointment was good, but honestly, Ill probably stay in the Medical Center for my appointments.

Simeen Jhaveer is fantastic and the facility is clean, professional, and up on the latest technology. However, I was a patient of EyeExcellence that was merged with Mann Eye. Since then, the care has become less personalized and more generic. My new complaint is the new service charge of 2.5% when using a credit card. Supposedly it does not exceed their CC charge and does not apply to debit cards (which I used) but a CC charge is a cost of doing business for the convenience of your patients. This seems like a way to boost revenue and had me grumbling the whole time there. They also stopped taking AMEX which was another kicker. If it wasnt for Dr. Jhaveer and Debbie, I would be looking for another eye doctor.
