    Dr Cothran is extremely pleasant, friendly, efficient and loves what she does. She is very knowledgeable and lets you know whats going on. Im in good hands with Dr Cothran and her staff.

    There must be some issue with communication between the staff.The doctor requested my medical records from the original cataract surgical center, but I had not heard anything. I went to ask the front desk at the Eye Institute of West Florida (Largo) and was told that they had received them. I was instructed to see someone who would know where they were, but she said they had not received anything. I insisted to check closely since the front desk told me they had received the records. It took a while until she found the records. She printed them out and said that she will take them to the doctor's office and they will call me. Since no one called, I emailed them and talked with the dr's nurse explaining why the doctor wanted to see the medical records and waited again patiently. The staff were not helpful or friendly. In fact, one of them said, "This is not my job!"I also inquired about the bill since I believed that I overpaid them according to the insurance statement. I repeated asking in writing, but I have not received any response for several months now.

    Slight delay not a issue. Drs very direct and thorough which I prefer. Like the treatment pl@n to monitor my case would highly recommend to others.
