    My husband suffers from Keratoconus which is a progressive eye disorder. We were seeking help at Eye Florida in Central Florida and it was no help. They couldn't even diagnose my husband's eye disorder. We did lot of research and finally heard of Dr. Diakonis and his experience with crosslinking surgery. We found that he's working for Eye Institute of West Florida. After the first consultation with Dr. Kane at their Hyde Park location, then put us in touch with Dr. Diakonis. Let me tell you, Dr.Diakonis is truly a gift from God. His knowledge, experience, amazing charisma shed a ray of hope for the helpless situation we were in. The surgery (crosslinking- epi off) was 200% successful. Not only the halted the further progress, my husband went from 20/100 to 20/60 (without correction) after the surgery. We had two follow-up visits with Dr.Diakonis after the surgery and another appointment with Dr. Smith for a hybrid lense fitting. Everytime we visit Eye Institute of West Florida, our experience has been very positive. They do their best to save our time. Form the check-in to the check-out, the customer service has been excellent! After all, Eye Institute of West Florida is a facility you can count on for the customer service and for experienced specialists whom you can trust your life upon! Wish you all the best!

    Dr. Mohadjer is kind, talented and compassionate! Her skills are beyond any I have ever experienced. She has an artistic eye, aims to please and never over-does. She would rather have you return to continue than deliver a look that is displeasing. I trust her judgement and ask her opinion for all my facial concerns.
