    I was referred here by another Dr, I have RCE and was referred to Dr Desai but I was told he does not treat this condition that I would need to see Dr Diakonis. Honestly I have been to so many eye dr and some of the best In South Florida, but seeing Dr Diakonis was horrible.. He came in with a very condescending attitude, talked down to me right in front of my Fiance..Bragged he trained in Crete with The Dr that invented Lasix.. I have never seen a bigger GOD complex in a Dr. He Made a joke about "Greek Drama" because I am Greek also like him.. This joke was made when I was explaining how the condition I am Suffering horribly from Recurrent Corneal Erosions was ruining my life with the Worst Pain Immaginable and suffering.. Instead of having an ounce of compassion he made a joke about me being Dramatic.. He said you need surgery on both eyes.. I left crying and very despondent.. It took me 3 months to write this, and I would not let that Dr with the inflated ego touch me ever again!! I have worked in Hospitals and Dr offices all of my adult life and I have come into contact with some Drs with Huge egos but this guy he took the cake!! Bravo Dr. Diakonis you have the worst Bedside manor of any Dr I have had the displeasure to come in contact with.

    Dr. Cothran sat with me for an extra 15 mins after my apt and answered questions i had. Her empathy and professionalism were top notch! I am so lucky to have a her as a doctor in my area.

    This is A HERD you in place, long wait times. Not treated as a valued customer. They are eager to schedule you for cataract surgery, however, you can never get a straight answer on your costs. Was told the fee schdule was not updated. Never got to meet Dr Robert Weinstock, I was worried about who was really going to do the surgery. In the end of it all, and poor customer service, and plenty of more bad experiences with this place, I canceled...My advice, get more than one evaluation.
