UNLESS YOU ARE GETTING LASIK, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMENCED LOOKING AROUND BEFORE GOING HERE. I have seen two different doctors here for an on-going issue with inflammation in my eye. The first doctor I saw around 7-8 times who had me try about 3 different eye drops which all treated different problems. Which came across as him trying different things in hope for a lucky guess at what the problem may have been. I then was referred to the "world renown Dr Desai" who was endlessly commend at every office for "how great he is". My first visit I sat around for about 2hrs to see the Doctor for 30 secs. He came in,looked at my eye, claimed it was a very rare and un-treatable condition, recommended steroids to treat inflammation and sent me on my way. When I questioned his prognosis, he immediately caught an attitude and started being very nasty towards me. As if I was completely out of line for trying to understand what had led him to his verdict. I will not be back. I nearly walked out of the office during the appt with him. luckily the extremely nice staff there did a good job of smoothing over him being as rude as he was towards me.

I saw Dr Mohadjer several times about a concern with a freckle in my eye lid. It caused me severe pain and expressed my concern for having it biopsied. I had cancer once in the same area and so naturally I thought her suggestion to just take a picture of it every 6 months despite the pain it was causing me was a bit negligent. I had an appointment last week to tell her I didn't want to wait any longer to biopsy it and had a reminder call the day before from their staff with a message that I heard "your appointment is at 4:50" I was planning on getting there extremely early (4) because I was hoping to read and relax before hand. It was severely raining and there were accidents all over the city including two close to the office and ended up arriving at the time of my appointment to find the doors locked. A nurse opened them and said my appointment was at 4:15 and I must have heard the message wrong. I asked to reschedule and the nurse went into the next room and came back and told me the doctor didn't want to see me again because I was late. WAIT WHAT?! Oh ok. Thanks. I tried to explain what happened and she said it didn't matter and that the doctor did that sort of thing all of the time and she was "tough" so there was nothing she could do. I thought this was completely unprofessional and absurd, I guess if her patients really are that plentiful she doesn't need to deal with someone who is late because of a completely valid excuse.
