    I was diagnosed in MA and told we would watch what happens. For over a year we watched without treatment. Since we are snowbirds, I made an appointment for a checkup and by chance got Dr. Hairston. Not only did he inform me that I had been misdiagnosed, but he began immediate treatment for macular degeneration. It has maybe been 5 years, I got rid of the MA doctor, found a new one, and go back and forth between the two. My eye is doing great. I believe Dr. Hairston may have saved me from potential blindness by being right on top of things and knowing his stuff. Nothing but praise for this great man, who also has a super sense of humor.

    My mother has something with her eye and the lady who came to the counter was very unprofessional and no compassion. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.
