    This Eye Institute is big, busy and yes, can be assembly like. Dr Desai is, in my opinion, their saving grace; an amazing, gifted eye surgeon and a genuinely caring person.The institute staff ranges from knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and compassionate to cold, indifferent or down right rude with attitude problems. <br>My biggest issue was the apparent communication breakdown between staff and patient. A lot of the info I got upon my first visit about the surgery didn't apply to what I needed to do/have with me at surgery time. To add to my confusion, in several cases the eye drop directions on the paper I got from the institute and the directions on the prescription bottles were completely different. I mentioned this several times, but no one seemed concerned and told me to follow their instructions. I also wound up with a prescription they ordered (and I paid for!) but never got used. No one could tell me what happened there.<br>I'd give them 5 stars if they worked on the communication/information part and took a look at the serious range of behaviors within their staff.

    My consultation was so smooth and all the employees were kind & understating. Dr. Desi was patient and explained the procedure in a way I could understand. He took his time and answered all my questions. I feel very confident that he will be doing my procedure.
