    The eye exam with Dr. Gruszka was great. I strongly disagree with their billing practices. It seems when you go and get your eyes reexamined to renew the eyeglass and contact prescription the charges are separate. The exam for the eyeglasses was $298.00 while there is a separate $75.00 charge to provide a renewal for the contacts when there was no refitting or any changes from the prior year. That is a lot of money for a single piece of paper when all I had to do was say the old contacts were working fine. I will have to look for a different provider that does not nickel and dime a patient so much. When I called the billing dept, which to different calls and two weeks for them to get back to me. They hung up the phone when I voice my displeasure at the charges. I guess I should have asked for a complete breakdown of charges instead of being told that there would only be a ten-dollar co-pay. The front office staff rates a 10 while the billing staff get a 0 in my opinion.
