    Although the LASIK surgery went well, I was disappointed that I was never sceduled for a one-year follow up, which I had been told before the surgery was part of my contract. When I called to point this out 13 mos after surgery I was told it would be $75 for the exam, and that price was apparently discounted for me since I had already paid $4,000 for the procedure. Despite multiple phone calls on this issue, they declined to offer me what was promised in my contract. Although I am satisfied with my results, and they took my vision insurance (which was hard to come by), I feel I could have received the same results and been shown a little more care and compassion in the process.

    She's one of the nicest doctors I've ever met, and I have MANY. She's compassionate and she know's her stuff. She's the way God meant all doctors to be.

    Dr. Johnson did a thorough examination on my eyes and saw something unusual. Because "unusual" things can make me feel uneasy, he was able to immediately refer me to Dr. Leonard Kirsch, a retina specialist, located in the same facilities. Dr. Kirsch preformed a couple of diagnostics and quickly determined it was a freckle on my retina and that I should follow up in a year just to be sure. Seeing Dr. Johnson in a facility set up to see a specialist made my visit more comforting. For this experience, I would suggest Dr. Johnson to everyone. Coming from a workaholic, the time it saved me to see a specialist the same day was greatly appreciated. He and his staff are very knowledgeable and kind.
