Dr. Kirsch performed the surgery for a hole that I had in my retina. I would highly recommend him as a skilled surgeon and the best doctor when it comes to explaining the procedure. He spends so much time with his patients and puts them at ease with his positive attitude and dynamic personality!! Best doctor I've seen in years!

My mother Lorene went to The Eye Institute of West Florida for a routine cataract surgery, which they said she was a good candidate for and she became legally blind after the surgery. Her cornea detached, and she had lots of issues that they did surgeries on to try and fix. She spent the following years trying to deal with being legally blind, she was unable to drive or live a fulfilling life. She had many falls because of it, which caused a broken arm, also ribs and a nose. She died January 30th, 2022, I truly feel if she had been able to see properly, she would not be dead at the age of 61. Her doctors were Dr. Desai and Dr. Kirsch. I understand she may have just had bad luck, but they really ruined her life, and have had no repercussions except this one bad review, and probably the many more I plan on leaving on any site that will take it. I've never left a bad review before, but they've earned it.

If there were more stars available in this rating, I would give them to Dr. Kirsch and his amazing team. They are miracle workers and I am blessed to be able to see clearly because of their tireless dedication to the well-being of their patients. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
