I didn't learn about correcting the arterial collusion in the retina of my right eye.

They don't care about the patient experience here. You have to schedule separate appointments on different dates if you want to be seen by an ophthalmologist and by an optometrist. So, if you want an eye check up and a glass prescription, you have to come back twice! The reason they provide is that insurance doesn't allow them to bill for the two services the same day. It sounds like an scam to me.

On top of that, I came back to my second appointment with the optometrist, and I get here to find out that the doctor cancelled the appointment and send me a letter, that I never received. No call, no text, no email, a letter!

All I'm gonna say is **** YOU !!! I make an appointment for this August2018 about a year ago & all of a sudden unannounced, as in giving me no reason WHY, you cancelled it. WTF is up with that? NO apology on your call to me either. LOW budget is all I can say.

This practice has excellent physicians, but it is so poorly run, with so little concern for patients' time and needs, after years and generations of family as patients, I am done. The office is awkwardly configured, there is staff moving around everywhere, and yet the wait for any service is unbelievably long. The desk and scheduling staff are rude and impertinent, and the optical staff in particular is snippy and disinterested. One person hung up on me when I called to inquire about the status of my glasses order, the manager did not return my voice mail message, and today, when I mentioned that I was in a hurry, the optical clerk told me that the office is very busy and management refuses to hire more people so clients just have to wait. So, sadly, I am not returning, and when I mentioned this to the person who gave me my glasses, she told me I could go look for the suggestion box. My suggestion is that the employees provide customer service so patients do not leave angry and dissatisfied!

This place is AWFUL! I waited for over 2 hours to see Dr. Reader. I was referred here from UCSF because of my graves opthamology and was told they were the best. I will never come back. I don't care how good they are supposed to be, I don't have all day to sit and wait, oh and pay for parking! Eff this! So frustrating! On a side the note the tech was very helpful and super nice, but the scheduling is ridiculous, and a warning would have been nice when we arrived. Just horrible.
