I am sooooo disappointed. these guys came highly recommend. they were extremely rude and unprofessional. after exam ken promising a phone call because their insurance person was not there. It took me 5 times calling for someone to call us back. they were so rude and unprofessional that we had to go back and pick up her glasses and have some one else do it. they have no regard for peoples time. truly disappointing

We have never seen anything bad like this in all our life! We were literally thrown away from the clinics and the staff manager was extremely rude to us! The problem was that they suddenly refused me to accompany my husband to the appointment and this year only we had 6 appointments since March! My husband is 84 years old, he has serious problems with hearing and needs language assistance, not to mention that unfortunately he is not the healthiest person. I tried to ask to call my husband's doctor (he is aware of our problems) but they just smiled in our faces and pushed us out. I've never been in the situation like this and do not want anyone to experience all the nightmare like we have seen there. We do not want to have any business with the place like this anymore. If it is normal that this clinic's staff can treat patients like dirt we would look for the medical services somewhere else!

I had an appointment with Dr. Oxford and was entirely unpleased with my experience. It was beyond obvious that she was in a rush; all of my questions were answered with curt, minimal explanations. I mentioned several times that I was a cancer patient and wondered if the diagnosis might be correlated to Chemo, which she never addressed, not even bothering to ask the extent of my treatment. Her treatment suggestion was to stop using contacts, use drops and come back in a month. When I explained that I had already been doing that for many months with no improvement, she brushed it aside and said "This takes a long time to heal". I also mentioned that without contacts I have extremely limited vision, making it very difficult for me to take care of my 3 year old, drive or do my job. Her response was to set me up with an occupational therapist who could show me how to enlarge the print on my computer (Thanks, this is 2020, I know how to do that for myself). These are genuine quality of life issues that she brushed aside in a patronizing manner. All in, Dr. Oxford was dismissive with very little time or energy spent going over her assessment of my issue, or offering any real, concrete options for remedying the situation. After a year of heavy chemo and multiple surgeries, I have been around some truly incredible doctors who offer exceptional care and go the extra mile for their patients. Sadly, Dr. Oxford can not be counted among those doctors. I felt like a task on her to-do list and nothing more. The entire appointment was a waste of time and money and I'll be seeking a second opinion. Dr. Oxford should take the time to treat patients like people or retire.

I called on Tuesday February 18 and left an urgent message because I have run out of contact lenses and needed to get a quick pair. I heard nothing so I left another urgent message on Thursday February 20. It is now a week later, and I still have heard nothing. I will never come to Dr. Inger or anyone else at Pacific's optometry department again. The optometry department is either incompetent or grossly understaffed. It doesn't really matter to me which it is.
