    This review is strictly for Billy Kwong, their surgical coordinator. Multiple family members have been seen by quite a few of their doctors -- the doctors are great specialists but people like Billy the Bully make you think twice before having anything to do with this office. <br>Billy has got to be the most rude, unprofessional and empty headed person that I have encountered in the medical field. I work in eye care myself and called last week with questions about a mutual patient's surgery (this mutual patient also happens to be my grandfather). The surgery is scheduled for 6 months out and I understand that the doctor's surgery schedule is full and he couldn't bump up the procedure. However, I also proceeded to ask questions about the procedure itself (on my grandfather's behalf) and Billy refused to answer any of them and hung up on me when I asked for either a tech or the doctor. He straight up cut me off mid sentence, said "bye" and hung up. <br>My grandfather also requested to speak to him at the appointment last week but the tech came back to him and said "Billy said that you need to have an appointment to see him". I don't know if he thinks that his position is equivalent to the doctor's but last time I check, you DON'T need an appointment to see a surgical scheduler. <br>He was beyond rude and demeaning and sounded like he was chewing the whole time I was on the phone with them (he even thought it was okay to raise his voice and cut me off multiple times) -- I also heard him bad mouthing me with calling me names such as a B**** to other staff when I'm assuming he thought that he muted himself? Working in the medical field myself, I would be out of a job if I spoke to any of our patients the way that Billy speaks to theirs. I'm surprised they keep him on staff given the previous reviews and reputation around the office. <br>Apparently this isn't the first encounter either...I have a friend that worked at PEA for many years and unfortunately had the displeasure of working with Billy. She would tell me that he's known for this behavior -- he would kick his feet up onto his desk and bad mouth everyone that called and was notoriously known for hanging up on people despite numerous complaints to which he'd respond "I don't give a s***". <br>It's day 5 and I'm still waiting on someone from their medical staff to call me back (if Billy even bothered to relay my message). I called for their surgical manager, Scott Neilson, and their front desk told me that he was "busy" without agreeing to take any messages or transfer me to his voicemail. <br>I'll update this lovely review if anyone considers calling back to answer any of my questions.

    I can't judge the doctors because I didn't get the opportunity to see one. However the secretary made a mistake scheduling my appointment so I showed up and she put the blame on me for showing up the wrong day. Sadly for her I record my phone conversation. But she wouldn't even apologize

    Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else. Optical department does not know the meaning of customer service. It too me 40 minutes to pick up a box of contact lenses that were ready for me. Also they don't return calls in a timely manner . They are too big and they have not scaled well.

    I knew this place looked bad from the onset. The desk folks were being talked down to by some monster that kept saying huh over and over to staff that whom was talking over. Medical assistant was the rudest person I have ever met. Equipment in the rooms looks to not have been updated in the last 10-15 years. When I asked about it she responded with 'Are you gonna pay for it?' Dr. I saw was nice but it didn't seem like she knew anything about complicated eye issues. She referred me to another doctor in SF to help. When i called that Dr. they said they are not taking on patients. Such a waste of time.

    They just want your $$, they don't care at all. Terrible communication. Waste of time to go here. If you get referred try and ask to go to another place.
