I went for a refraction exam due to destruction of my glasses. I asked for an appointment and was told that only appointment was tomorrow at 7:15 am. The ophthalmometric doctor saw me and said "you are ok" and asked the tech to take me for a retinal scan. That was done. I received a print out of my exam which stated that i had 4 abnormalities what were discussed with me in the medical record. It was not discussed with me as was an eye opening experiance when i read this. The medical record was falsified or the person that examined me did not tell me what she knew. I asked for a discussion last week about this and was not contacted. Patients are due explanations of abnormalities found and a plan to correct them. This was not provided. Very poor communication and treatment plan.

I drove a relative here for a check up with her glaucoma doctor. Very nice office and staff. Only issue was her appointment was at 2 and it's now 4:40 and she just got called back to see the doctor. They close at 5! I've watched people who arrived later than us leave before us. I'm watching staff leave for the day and we haven't even completed our visit. They had 3 docs in today. I understand if the issue is due to being short staffed, I'm in the medical field as well, times are tough. Two hours and 40 minute wait time is excessive.

Reception does not know what they're doing. They originally scheduled me for 7:30am at the Santa Barbara location on a Friday. Then they told me they switched it to 12:00 pm. Two days before my appointment, I get a message to confirm for 7:30 am appointment. They switched the time again without telling me and gave me a bogus answer when I asked for an explanation. I get to the Santa Barbara location only to find out they're closed on Fridays...Complete waste of time. Never bothering with them and their incompetency again

I will never ever recommend anyone to this place! Still having eye issues. Almost 2 years already. I just got a bill in the mail 2 years later saying I owe money. Was told I would get a call back and guess what? No call! I am thinking they don't know how to fix the issue or don't want to. Taking my business elsewhere and sending Franz the bill
