Buyers beware! Wrong lens and wouldnt admit it. Puts mono lens in instead of a multifocal lens. Factory like surgical procedure.

I'd like to share my experience with others and perhaps someone from Frantz Eye Care will take note of this and critique their customer service, patient care and above all, patient education. I went to Frantz Eye Care for cataract surgery, however after the day of pre testing I cancelled my surgery with them. They have a very impressive lobby, but other than that I was not impressed at all. Once I was taken back for the appointment I felt as though I was being herded like cattle at a stockyard. The next person after the different tests were given, basically ignored my questions, and told me I could talk with the Dr. I was "herded" into another office. Same thing when I saw the actual Dr., he quickly brushed over my questions, did not wait for any of my interjection and then immediately left the room. I told his assistant my questions were still not answered and that I was very confused with the different choices of cataract surgery and all the different lens choices. She said she couldn't answer any of my questions and then I herded into the surgery scheduler's office. I shared my frustrations with her and at that time my husband asked if by chance they had any literature or information we could have that would explain more details of the lenses, which they actually did and gave to me and told me to go home and read them. After I got home and thought about how they treated patients before surgery I started wondering how they would treat patients that had any post op issues or concerns after surgery and then thought it best to cancel my surgery with them. I would rather go to a clinic where I feel better informed and more than just a number to fill their daily quota and pay for their lobby.
