I went here because of the reviews. What a mistake.Run from Frantz if you have vision issues like dry eyes. Thank God I found Dr Ginsberg who cares, and within days of antibiotic drops and pills, my vision has dramatically improved almost back to pre-dry eye status, and my dry eyes with watering and pain have nearly faded away. To fully correct it, my great caring doctor will be performing IPL, which has some wonderful results per several studies. It turned out my eye glands were inflamed and not producing the correct % of mucus, water, and oil.Sadly, I suffered for over a year due to Roger Perez, OD at Frantz stating, "you got to live with dry eyes." Even new eyeglasses didn't correct my vision.Frantz Pros: Multiple locations and the front desk employees were nice.Frantz Cons:-Appointment was Feb 2022, and I marked their "dry eye" box. I told them that my eyes burned and watered all day long, and I was experiencing a great deal of vision deterioration, which their exam proved.-The employees performing the exam just entered data and did very little conversation.-After about 45 minutes, I finally saw Roger Perez, OD who spent maybe 3-5 minutes with me. He did not ask me about my dry eyes or discuss my dramatic vision changes (they had my previous records from out-of-state). When I asked, he said that I "would have to live with the dry eyes as there was nothing that could be done." He had no concerns over my drastic vision change that even my long-term out-of-state eye doctor was surprised had occurred.-No referral to see a specialist.-They refused to transfer my records to my new doctor until Roger Perez came back from vacation. I had to fight with them to get them to have another doctor sign off to release my records.-You are handed off to multiple people during the exam. I felt like it was an assembly line with no personal touch.-Two hours for the appointment.-Glasses were more expensive than other places. If you have no vision problems, like the assembly line approach with little conversation and little caring, along with holding your records hostage then they might be right for you.Thank God I found someone else who fixed my vision with compassion and expertise in a matter of days with such ease.

Never again would I go back to Franz eye care. I had my eyes dilated and sat there for 2 1/2 hours waiting to be scanned , which never happened, before finally walking out .

Update: The owner obviously did not read the entire post! My appointment was just for a CONSULT not surgery. The response stated I could just wear glasses for one week. But unfortunately, that's not an option for everyone. I have worn contacts for over 20 years, and I have hypoparathyroidism which can cause dizziness and is more severe when I wear glasses. Please remember every patient has different needs and concerns when you have a policy in place for your schedulers.I made an appointment for a consultation for Lasik surgery and was quite discouraged with the appointment requirements. The receptionist stated I would need to stop wearing my contacts one week prior to the appointment because of the type of exam they do on the first visit. I explained that was not possible because my vision is so bad. I would not be able to work or drive. She stated that was the company policy for consults. I again, explained I could not go a week without vision. I decided to just cancel the appointment and chose another practice.
