This was my first visit. I faced bad experience from the beginning, stuffs are not friendly, no smile on their face. Then the wait time. My appointment was at 10:40 AM, they told me to be their by 10:25 AM. I was on time by the time I came out it was 12:45 PM. When I filled their form online. They called me 10:55 AM 10 minutes after my time when they probably cancel my appointment if I am late 10 minutes. Two and half hour for just an eye exam. Then doctor not even check my eye for confirmation of the prescription, the assistant checked my eyes and that's it. I was paying for a doctor's visit not for assistant. Surprisingly doctor was more hungry about referral benefit. Which they get by referring to a specialist. I never had such a bad experience. I am not wearing glasses for few week I have it since I was 10 years. No doctor visit in my life time made me this mad. I am never going back here and not even suggest any of my friends. No patient time value as well as not even showed they care about. On top of it doctor called me back to discuss that I should go to a specialist and the appointment can be as soon as tomorrow. I definitely liked the suggestion if they were not asking my vision and the health insurance at the reciption when I first went and signed my name. It struck me why they need my health insurance when I have my vision. Later found out the reason. Now I can't believe do I really need a specialist or its just money making game.

I made an appointment because I had floaties in my left eye. I told them that was all I wanted to address. They gave me a whole slew of tests and then told me that there is nothing they can do for my problem. Instead of being honest they wasted hours of my time and bilked the insurance company for tests that I didn't need or want.

My wife and I both had appointments today at the Fort Myers Office. We made them about 45 days ago to see Dr. Sandler. My wife is a university professor and I am a general counsel at a college. We both took the afternoon off. We walked in only to be told that we would not be seen. No Dr. Sandler. The receptionist's attitude was unforgivable somewhere between - "I dare you to argue" and "to hell with you." She told us they could't reach us by phone but both of us regularly receive emails from your office. Terrible way to treat people. We will share our experience with our colleagues.

It was like a high pressured sales pitch from the moment I walked in. I wasnt a candidate for LASIK via the test I took on their website, but thats the price and procedure the receptionist was posing. Then I was asked to sign an Authorization for Surgery before I had even seen the doctor! Who does that? I was then brought back and the technician did 2 tests, took me to another room to wait for the doctor, and then the technician came back in and asked what I hoped to gain. I said to get rid of my reading glasses. She said you will lose some distance and depth perception...are you good with that? I said no, Im not. She said well I dont want to waste your time and I took that as my cue to leave. I never got the chance to see the doctor or ask more questions. Ive never seen a doctors office operate this way. I cant actually review the doctors because I never got the chance to see one, but if this is how they allow and train their front staff to operate, I wouldnt want them actually doing surgery on me. I would seriously consider finding another facility. If I could give zero stars I would, but there isnt an option for that.
