I got the smile procedure done in December of 2022. The service was great before and during the procedure. As soon as I left the office on the day of the surgery, I noticed that I could see better through my left eye. I had about 6 post-operation exams in which I expressed that I was not satisfied because I was seeing blurry through my right eye. I was told the same thing over and over that it was due to my eyes being dry ... blah blah blah, basically to wait more time and my eyesight would continue to improve. It has now been 8 months, and I still see blurry through my right eye. I would not recommend anyone to get any kind of procedure done here if they expect Frantz EyeCare to be responsible for their work.

Went to see Dr Bokmn. Drove an hour to arrive at 8:10 for an 8:20 appointment. Waited another hour before the Dr came in. No one came in to keep me posted on when the doctor would see me. I told the Dr I was disappointed and my time was as important as hers and she apologized. Not a very sincere apology at that. I will be looking for a closer place to go.

Just the most horrible medical experience I have other had.I was given insufficient anesthesia for my cataract surgery preformed by Dr. Franz. I felt everything that was done to me including grinding the cataract off my cornea. While I was fully awake and aware I told the Dr. that what he was doing really hurt. The anesthesiologist told me she would give me more medicine when the Dr. put in the lens! What she was waiting for that part of the surgery to occur and not provide sufficient medication is beyond me.2 days later I couldn't see out the eye. I was partially blind. I called the Franz eye center and went in was told I needed to see a retina specialist. He diagnosed my problem as endophthalmitis. An infection usually caused by improperly sterilized instruments used during an eye procedure. I was told if left untreated it would cause blindness or death by sepsis. Cure required numerous injections in my eye and a syringe inserted behind my eye to extract puss. To say this was painful would be a huge understatement.I paid $9,400 out of pocket after insurance to have both my eyes treated. I will never go back to Franz to have my second eye treated. When I told them this and asked for the return of my money previously paid I was told Dr. Franz said NO.Believe it or not I condensed this sordid tale to fit this format.Do yourself a big favor and stay away from this inept and thieving business.

Non existing customer service.Went to pick up my eyeglasses only to be told that person in optical department is on lunch and no one else can't help me until she is back from lunch. Apparently it's all about profit not the customers!Would not use this business again!
