DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to wait hours for appointments, have unsuccessful surgery and be over billed. Dr. Kane did my pterygium surgery November, 2018 and I've had nothing but issues since the surgery. He does NOT believe in any type of medication to help with pain or lack of sleep from this extremely painful surgery. His office over-billed me and the billing supervisor does NOT return phone calls or emails. I've filed an appeal with Blue Cross since 1 procedure code they did not inform me of which was almost $2000 extra and the other code they made me pay cash for it because they stated my insurance would not cover it. They then had another company bill my insurance company for it and get paid on it. All they care about is making money and not customer service.

By giving accurate estimates of surgery costs up front. They were way off in quoting the costs for my surgery. After numerous attempts of trying to meet, email or speak with billing supervisor since surgery November, 2018 and filing complaint with Blue Cross Blue Shield I have paid the bill. The visits last at least 2-3 hours every time you go in. It is the most unorganized Doctor's office I've ever been to. My pterygium surgery was NOT a success and since have been seeing another Dr. to see if there is anything that can be done since I have now a secondary effect from the surgery.

My experience with Neel has been a living hell, he has performed 3 count them 3 surgeries on my eyes and i am wearing glasses to write this review. Cataract surgery gave good vision for 3 days on each eye then gone, performed a YAG surgery next month a complete failure then the next month performed Lasik and i still can not see out of my left eye. Had good vision for 10 days then went blurred again. Neel said that is the best he can do. Wish he told me that before i wasted $12,000 with this clown. He is incapable of admitting he performed a substandard job. I now have to find a real surgeon to fix my left eye. Very arrogant and can not back it up with results. Flat out lied about the price of the surgery to my face. Still receiving bills in the mail for what he said was free "oh he is on the plan do not charge him" Neel Desai is a total sham artist. Can't give zero stars!

Take long time to see the doctor. Approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Only one doctor at the office and too many assistants

3 hours & 9 minutes from my scheduled appointment time until I left the office after 7pm. Not only was the office staff completely unconcerned, the medical staff specifically asked me to review this visit because they dont like to stay this late either. It was after 7 pm when I left the office. Never again.
