    Unfortunately quite a horrible experience.Had a great experience with Dr. Weinstock with my LASIK surgery in 2000. 2020-21 has been a nightmare experience with my retina reattachment. The receptionist at the South Tampa office is one of the RUDEST office personnel I have ever encountered in my life! After being told my subsequent visits would be covered under the quoted price-Dr. Ho just infoReed me that she now only honors the post surgery appointments for 3 months. So now I have subsequently paid almost $600 more than the original quoted price for my surge+post surgery appointments.

    Check in process was efficient but it's 64 minutes and we haven't seen the doctor. I asked the center desk check out receptionist what the issue was but when I didn't know which Dr. Weistock we were seeing she just said she couldn't help us then and turned around. Well, no she's not going to help anyone with that attitude. Luckily another lady asked my mom's name and looked up who we were seeing. Didn't help us get seen any sooner. Update, we left after 1hr :15mins.

    Today I had an appointment at 2:30 for laser vision correction, I waited almost two hours when I was called for an operation, the young doctor twice tried to make an incision in the retina of my eye, but he did not succeed because the laser did not work correctly, broke, then the doctor he told us that he would call us within three days and we would be able to continue, we were not satisfied, we took our money and left. I do not recommend doing surgery in this clinic, as the equipment is not of high quality.

    Worst customer service I have ever seen in any medical office/hospital.You cannot get to a doctor over phone. Even in the office, there is always long wait.This 1 star review is primarily for prescriptions. I tried to get prescription for alternative medications covered by my insurance, they will simply not, as that will not earn them their commission (thats my best guess)Specifically, I tried to get prescription for Latanoprost which is fully covered by my insurance but they will not give me that prescription, instead they gave me Vyzulta (which earns them commission). Even after asking for Latanoprost multiple times, they didnt prescribe.If you cant change my prescription, I am changing you !!Update: I got Latanoprost prescription from opthamologist in USF, he gave this prescription without me asking for anything and said this is all that is required and fully covered by all insurances. And its working perfectly as expected.My suspicion that they get commission with Vyzulta is confirmed.
