It was a horrible experience. I was prescribed a medication that made my eyes burn, crack and blurred my vision. I was treated by some of the staff and the doctor that this was only a minor irritation. My eye swelled, lots of white drainage and burned. I could not see while I worked and was in a lot of pain.

He blinded my husband in one eye. I suppose if youre a geriatric patient he may do good work, but my husband was in his early 40s and he never took into account the additional scar tissue which would develop as a result of his younger age. Im only a Registered Nurse, not a medical doctor, but this seems like common sense. If Dr. Hairston wasnt so arrogant, he would have referred my husband to someone else to try to repair the damage he had done. Instead, he performed the procedure again. This time, increasing the power of the laser treatment. Thus, causing even more damage. We didnt realize the magnitude of his incompetence until my husband saw an amazing retina specialist at St Lukes who did a buckle procedure and had a great bedside manor (much unlike Dr. Hairston) so he explain everything. Unfortunately, the damage done by Dr. Hairston was irreparable.

Place is a ripp off. They want over $800.00 just for me to come see the doctor. This place should be ashamed of itself.
