My visit with this Dr. was unprofessional. He specializes in neurology but didn't know what an aura before a seizure is, he questioned the fact that I had seizures. When they are very much real and being treated by my neurologist. I'm not sure what I got out of my appointment besides bullied and chewed out. He would ask a question and interrupt me so much I couldn't even answer his question to explain why condition. He treated me like an incapable, stupid woman. NO person should be treated that way , patients should be treated with dignity and respect. Under no circumstance should people see this "doctor". He is a black mark on the reputation of the Eye Institute of Florida.

Well that's your opinion you weren't there, when you have a business and you want to add something extra you need to ask the customer first and you have to explain to the customer if they want anything extra, that's not the way to treat a customer, I will not take glasses there not even for free. I went to another AMAZING place where they offered me exactly the same with no extra cost, I can't believe that the customer is never right and when I rejected the offer she said wow in a rude and sarcastic way.

I had a terrible experience. First off the paperwork is all done electronically so you have no visual of what you are actually signing and they don't provide you with a paper copy. The explanations are rushed through and when you ask for clarification you don't get a transparent answer. You are promised a result they don't deliver. The surgery was far more scary than I was told to expect. The recuperation took weeks, I ended up with permanent damage to my eyes; black cresents in my peripheral vision and damage to tear ducts so now I have to use expensive prescription eyedrops twice a day. I paid extra for laser surgery to correct my astigmatism and it actually made it worse. I went from distance glasses to having to wear both close up glasses and distance. I tried to get my medical records and I am being dodged repeatedly. I filed a grievance with BayCare plus and even they were being dodged in multiple requests for medical records. I am at the point of hiring a lawyer.
