I had an injection followed by severe pain. Numerous phone calls were made asking him to see me. Each time they just told me it would get better. Finally, I just ended up going to the ER. They never followed up to see how I was. I found anothe physician who would see me. I am no longer a patient of his. I do not understand how he was worthy of a "compassion" award.

My experience with this doctor was horrible. She was treating my 8-year old daughter for an ear infection. She had a horrible bedside manner with a child to start with. And then Gauvin started carrying on about how an ear infection can take a turn for the worse and begin eating away at the jawbone. Who says this in from of an 8-year old???? Are you kidding me??? And not just once but several times, as if we didn't hear her. I would never recommend her or CVS Minute Clinic again!!!

I had a consultation after having tried physical therapy and steroid injections for surgical intervention. I and my wife felt like we were being interviewed for acceptance as a patient. He was more concerned with his ego and has the bedside manner of a prison guard. I think he is in the wrong profession and cares little for patients.

They require a drug test prior to treatment, which is understandable. They don't tell you that your insurance company will deem this test as "not a medical necessity", and you will be on the hook for the $725 bill. When you call the office, their response is, it's YOUR responsibility to know your benefits, and to choose to refuse the test... which, again, is required before treatment....
