I have been seeing Dr. Berg in hopes of getting a Spinal Cord Stimulator. During this time I have been horrible mistreated by this physician and his staff. Recently after a surgery my pain medications were with-held for over a week until they were able to verify the medications found in my drug analysis. Then the following month I was in a boating accident in which I lost my car keys, medications at the bottom of Lake Rockwall. After being without pain medication for a number of days and a large contusion on my leg I went to an Urgent Care facility where the Physician wanted to give pain medication. I asked that he clear it with Dr. Berg in which he did, he said he phoned and talked with Dr. Berg at length and Dr Berg understood the circumstances and assured him there would be no problem and it would not be held against me. Yesterday Dr. Berg's office called to notify me that I had been discharged as a patient because theyre wan't enough of my prescribed medication in my urinalysis, though the situation had been discussed with Dr. Berg by the ER Physician. Today I was notified by Dr. Berg's office that I am no longer able to get a spinal cord stimulator because I was discharged as a patient. There are ligitimate circumstances, i.e. surgery and then a major accident that if anyone at Spine Team Texas were taking notes, would have prevented this treatment of a 22 year old Navy Vet.

This doctor misdiagnosed me and then was rude , arrogant and uncaring . He did not , for one second, care about the pain I was in or that he treated me for several months on the wrong diagnosis. I have never seen a doctor care so much about making money. He cares more about his pocket book that the well being of his patient.

Worst customer service and disrespect I have ever received !!!!!!!!
I had an appt scheduled on 6/27/17 that I took an entire day off to attend. I arrived at the appt approximately 15 minutes early .The lady at the front desk was taking care of a patient who walked in and did not actually have a scheduled appt. I was not acknowledged when I came into the office I just stood in line waiting to sign the sign in sheet approximately 10 minutes, waiting for them to ask the Doctor if he would see the woman ahead of me who I repeat did not have an appt. When I got to the front desk I was greeted with did you fill out the new patient paperwork on line .I informed her I was not aware I needed to fill paperwork out on line. I was told being that I was not 30 minutes early for my appt to fill out paperwork they would have to check to see if Doctor would see me. The young lady returned and said the Doctor said he could not see you since your new paper work is not already filled out. I have never been so disgusted with a Doctors office in all my entire life.It took me an hour to get to this appt.I was not late for my appt I arrived at the time my paperwork told me to. I showed the office manager I received an email telling me what time to arrive It had no mention of arriving 30 minutes early . She glanced at the email and said that's the one telling you to fill out paper work on line .I will assume she needed readers because no mention of paperwork was in that email.I am Nurse of 22 yrs and have never seen a patient denied to be seen who arrived to there appt on time!! I explained to her there is no paperwork you could give me that will take me 30 minutes to fill out .Secondly I'm sure the Provider was not ready to see me at that very second and if he was I'm sitting in his face and can answer all questions if needed! I walked into that office in severe pain with numbness running down my arm and tears down my eyes. I asked for my MRI films and report back and the Office manager stated when you give me back our new patient paperwork.I couldn't believe my ears ,so now you are going to hold my disc and report hostage cause you want me to return the so important new patient paperwork.
Bridget S.
