I had a previous back surgery before going to Dr. Patel. I was/am still having a lot of pain and my other doctor gave me some pain pills and said to come back in 2 months. I was unhappy with that. When I told him the other Dr's name, he went on about how good the doctor was, he was a great guy and he knew him personally/socially. He basically invalidated my complaint. Arrogant and unprofessional.

The care that I have received from this place has been sub-par. The physical therapy group has been particularly rude and condescending. They prescribed a series of expensive injections before deciding they would go ahead and perform the surgery I needed. Even after painful neck surgery I have had next to no improvement with my pain. I would not use Spine Team Texas again.

12 days after neck injections. The procedure was a complete FAIL. More pain and discomfort than before. I was told at the hospital that I would be contacted for a followup one week after neck injections. The only contact I have had is rescheduling my appointment to 18 days after the procedure. After the followup, I will seek competant treatment. I would not reccommend Texas Spine to remove a splinter.***** UPDATE*****No luck at all with Spine Team Texas. They would schedule me to come in every three months, or so. This amounted to nothing much more than small talk and saying they could clip some nerve ends. I quit going back. After using an OTC ear wax remover to get excessive ear wax out of my left ear, my symptoms have gone away. Amazing, huh.

Dr. Berg's office doesn't listen to their patients. There is little follow-up, and the physician is always right. Does not involve the patient in their care, nor are they interested in listening to the patient.
