I waited a long time for him to get to me, well after my appointment time. He was not friendly at all and didn't seem to care about me and my concerns. He did not explain ell the images that were just taken and the MRI I brought for his review. I felt very unimportant to him. I would have liked for him to show me more clearly what the MRI was revealing about my problem and my pain.

Unfortunately, I did not experience the kind of care that others have posted about.Instead I received harassing phone calls, a call to my emergency contact when it was claimed I didn't return a call (though I did and proved it). I was sent for a pre-qualifying shot that cost me, literally to walk through the door, $3,815.00 and that's with a PPO insurance policy. I was told that I wouldn't need surgery. I was prescribed a nerve study (that would cost $498 out of pocket) that when asked, I was told the outcome would not change the course of how the doctor wanted to move forward.That was my last appointment with Spine Team Texas. That day when I canceled the nerve study, I was told that if I wasn't happy with the 1st shot, I'm not going to be happy to hear I have to do another pre-qualifying shot before I get the real shot. I was told that I could go to 5 other back and neck doctors and they will tell me the same thing.Guess what? I went to a neurosurgeon today.I have my referral for the real shot in my lower back and neck. Oh, and I was told that I will 100% need surgery on both my lower back and neck.All in all, I feel like I wasted months of my life going to Spine Team Texas and I know I wasted a lot of money.P.S. The 1 star is only because it wouldn't allow me to post this review without giving at least 1 star.

This doctor fist time meeting me says all the radiology notes on my MRI of my spine were them just doing there job that he is a surgeon and I dont need surgery what I need is physical therapy and too lose weight!! I have psoriatic arthritis I stated he said you do but your belly weight is whats making it worse poor stomach muscles also! Really was of my time and blew me off like nothing notes on the MRI mattered! Waste of my time and money to get no basically no help

When I called for an appointment, the desk staff insisted to see Dr. Dr Mayuran for the problems I was having with my Neck. Before the appointment the staff wanted to do an xray. I didnt get it as I just had an MRI done. They finally agreed that I could get an xray if the doctor wanted one.Vikram Mayuran,MD was very nice and down to earth. He asked me why I was seeing him. I said the appointment desk insisted I had to see him before I see anyone else. He said He is a surgeon, and I dont need surgery. And he doesnt do Necks. I agreed it was a needless appointment.
