where do I start, I did a nerve conduction study with Dr tran after my injection with Dr badhey they were great . Saw Dr Patel he insisted I didn't need surgery. when I informed him Dr tran / Dr Badhey advise me that it was best seeing I had a failed injection and a abnormal nerve conduction study showing I had nerve damage. He said I didn't then retract his statement after reading the report and said you do but minimal. I was schedule for surgery, did not go through with the surgery seeing the office staff thought they rec'd an approval, when in fact they were notified of a denial and the Amy at ext 204 did not communicate to one Lupe Jan 6 @134 that it was in fact denied a peer to peer was needed within 14 days i later found out adequate medical records was not rec'd by the office for the approval. Pam the supervisor insisted they did nothing world they did their job rather than take accountability for dropping the ball. This all transpired 6 days prior to surgery on Jan 28 . I sought a second opinion with Dr Jeff Phelps in NRH he explained my results, discussed what it meant and what was needed they were able to get the approval with in a week and got me scheduled in 2 weeks. Working with spine team was a complete waste of my time. I'm currently still waiting for a refund of $500 the deposit for a service I never received. Again do yourself a favor see Dr Jeff Phelps compassionate, is kind and thorough. The staff also was amazing got me seen with in 24 hrs. Dr Phelps also did surgery on my father who has no complaints I should have reached out to him prior would have saved me time and i would have been treated quicker. Spine team was the worst experience in my life working with a Dr office

WARNING! If you are a smoker DO NOT go to this clinic. I needed surgery and the Dr stated that he wouldnt perform the surgery unless I quit smoking. I had met my deductible and there would have been no out of pocket cost for me. He did however refer me to one of his co-physicians and I had a steroid injection performed. Was back in pain in 4days. Of course I was ..because I NEEDED SURGERY. Now I have found a physician that's actually going to be a physician but I will incur alot of Bill's since it's the start of a new year.
