This place is a definate tourist restaurant. People from Maine will say....stay away. But I can tell you that this experience I had this week was great. I was up there in the middle of a snow storm and went there to try out a talked about lobster special.<br><br>I walked in, the first thing the bartender says is with the snow storm today, everything on the menu is 50% off! Yes, and it's something they do everytime they have a snow storm to drive business and get people in. Make note!<br><br>I got 2 Maine lobsters...lazy man style for $19...a ton of steamers for $4. Food was great, definately worth the tourist aspect.

Was told it being a tourist trap after visit.<br>Had two lobsters here. A bit pricey for being not as good as I expected. A little plain.

Good price for 2 lobsters. Romantic/family ambiance. The food was good but normal. Great service.

Delicious fresh Maine lobster & BEST calamari we've ever had.<br><br> Service was average. My husband & I heard great things so decided to have a romantic evening out. Our waitress focused lots of attention on the table behind us, an adult family of 3, and actually walked by & ignored our table several times when we were ready to order drinks, food, when our dishes piled up. We waited a few minutes for the bill & 10-15 minutes for her to pick it back up to process the credit card. She was great about getting refills, new drinks, lemons, dessert, and coffee. She tied our bibs on for us. She was not consistently good or bad, so just average service. <br><br>The service left much to be desired, but the food was so incredible that it didn't matter. Would go back & would highly recommend. The food is phenomenal!
