We avoided the wait and sat at the bar. This place is unique since you are on a boat. From outside of the bar we still got a view of the water. I'm sure sitting outside would be great. We got fries, salad, and a lobster roll. The food was pretty good. Service was good but they were definitely busy.

For a unique experience and good seafood, this is the place. Reservation recommended. Two hour wait when i went if you did not have reservations.

At the end of a hot week in July, with the crowded streets of Old Port stinking of fish and garbage, my husband and I found an oasis in DiMillo's.<br><br>We walked right in and were seated on the second floor, a relatively quiet space with nice views of the water. We started our meal with my husband's favorites, jumbo shrimp and creamy lobster stew. (Note: this "stew" is more of a bisque. It's not thick and it doesn't have vegetables.)<br><br>For our entrees, I ordered the sirloin steak and my husband had the seafood scatter. The fried haddock, scallops and onion rings were crispy and delicious.<br><br>The steak was a good piece of meat, but it was completely unseasoned, and someone forgot the blue cheese butter. The only other glitch was a weird 20-minute wait between the appetizers and the entree. It shouldn't take that long to cook a steak!<br><br>Still, DiMillo's is a nice place and a good value.
