5 stars for atmosphere, 4 stars for service, and three stars for the food. The food is standard fare....adequate and a tad overpriced for the quality. However, the atmosphere makes up for it. <br><br>A safe bet.

Dimillo's is a landmark in Old Portland. The city has a of lot unique shops and restaurants, but this floating restaurant is iconic. My wife and I were referred here by our hotel concierge who was up front about it being a tourist spot, but we still decided to go. <br><br>My wife had the 1.5lb steamed lobster with a baked potato and I had the lazy lobster with mashed potatoes. The lobsters were good and we both enjoyed our meals, but for $30 each you think they could throw in a garden salad.<br><br>I'm still happy we went, the meal was good and the views from the flooring restaurant are funtastic!

Think of a place your grandparents would rave about for a seafood dinner. Set back on the water, the decor is very dated and cliche.<br><br>I ordered the shrimp cocktail and the lazy lobster with roasted potatoes. <br><br>The shrimp were great, yet very expensive at $4+ each. The cocktail sauce was tasty. They served it with cellophane wrapped saltines. I just don't get that except if it were 1987.<br><br>The lazy lobster was fantastic. Order the admiral portion if you're a lobster lover. The regular size is quite small - I wanted more! The roasted potatoes were superb. Just like home cooked.<br><br>The bartenders pour a very good drink. And generous!!<br><br>Service was very good! Ate at the bar.

A very good lunch for a family of 6. Have to say I was very impressed by Dimillos. Both last year and this year. Service was great and food choices and selections were delicious.<br>Would highly recommend to anyone. Can't wait to return

I dunno why so many people had a<br>Bad experience here. I am a Cape Codder so i lime to think i know good seafood. This place serves fantastic seafood. Had steamers for an ap and mixed seafood for meal. Best scallops all summer. Fish was just right. Waitress was excellent attentive and nice.
