What a cool spot. A little confusing at first to figure out exactly how to get into the restaurant but great views and cool atmosphere. We went for lunch and sat outside on the deck. The food was very good and the drinks were strong (big fan). A little pricey for lunch but the location was worth it.

A Portland icon is staying relevant in the restaurant scene with great menu items and first rate staff. Had the tuna tartare and it was outstanding! Never a bad meal here.

Outstanding! The food. The atmosphere our wait staff. You walk the "gang plank" to enter the floating restaurant. Unlike the image one might conjure in their mind, it is actually a covered entrance which takes you to the large wooden doors of the restaurant. Greeted by a charming young woman. She directed us around the hallway which was lined with memorabilia of yesteryear. We were hungry so I did not take time to enjoy the photos, maps and pictures which adorned the walls. Seated in the raised part of the dining room. We were awarded a splendid view of the harbour. Kirk, our waiter was charming and engaging. He caught my attention with their signature Bloody Mary with a jumbo shrimp! It was a JUMBO shrimp. My appetizer, Fried oysters were perfectly served on a bed of Boston lettuce with crisp bacon bits and baby tomatoes. I ordered the double 1lb lobster dinner. One baked and one steamed! In future I would go with the steamed only. Loads of lobster which melted in my mouth. I could not eat my side which was a baked potato. Dessert was a warm chocolate cheesecake a la mode. Well worth going and the price point is very reasonable for the quality and portion size .
