A very touristy place in the heart of Portland. <br>Crowded and noisy. Service, however, remains pretty good. Food is decent, but nothing extraordinary. Deck sitting is very pleasant if weather cooperates.

Food was great , service was great. Only complaint was fries were a little over cooked Would come again.

When I was in my twenties I visited this restaurant and got a crash course in how to crack open a lobster the thing was huge. Thank you kind waitress because know I do not look like a fool when eating whole lobsters. The place was great and worth the money to me. I heard this place which is a boat used to be a transport for hauling cars or something. Would definitely return when I visit Portland, Maine.

Off the HOOK family wedding this past weekend @ this magnificent venue! New England seafood at it's finest (this from a native Bostonian!). Dinner buffet delicious with offerings of clam chowdah, baked fish, lobstah mac & cheese, carved roast, etc, etc, etc...HOT, tasty, beautifully presented. <br><br>As for chatter about "too old school", "touristy", etc...remember - "the Best friends are Old friends!"...Back soon to visit, friends!
