My wife and I had lunch here. The food is great and pretty reasonable. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. It is a must do when you go to Portland as it is a part of the history and it is on a permanently docked boat. I had the lobster stew which had plenty of large pieces of lobster. Mrs. had the clam chowder which was just as good. It was an overcast day but the views of the harbor would have been great on a sunny day.

Was great...but very touristy...not a local favorite that is for sure. But was convenient and had a good deal on twin lobsters. probably will go elsewhere when i return just to experience other places, but cant go wrong here- especially if you like touristy places.

We are lunch here while on vacation. Chose this restaurant based on Yelp reviews and was not disappointed! We ordered the fried Main shrimp and the lobster roll. Food was awesome!! Lobster roll was $16 & the shrimp was $13, not cheap for lunch but again was VERY good. Both tasted extremely fresh.

I was told that I had to come to DiMillo's to experience eating on the old converted ship. Most tourists probably are drawn to this restaurant, too, because it is advertised in all the guidebooks and tourist brochures.

When you enter, you feel like you are about to board a ship to embark on a cruise. The decor in the entry way is cute with typical ship/nautical items hanging on the wall.

I ordered the lunch portion fried clams with cole slaw and they were sooo wonderful! They were hot and flavorful with light breading and served with tarter sauce. No wonder why fried clams are so popular out here! I don't think you can get such good ones out in L.A. The cole slaw was a nice-sized portion and it was fresh, light, and good.

If I was staying more days in Portland, I would have liked to try their lobster roll and clam chowder.
