    Update: Since posting my review, I received a call from the office manager who apologized for the misunderstanding and offered to discount the charges. After some discussion she was able to file a claim on my vision coverage. I appreciate that they made the effort to correct the situation.The Livingston location filed on my medical insurance and refused to correct and rebill my vision insurance. Their excuse was the service was 6 months old, but according to my medical and vision coverage they have 12 months to adjust a claim. When my insurance company called to explain the correction options the office manager refused to comply. I had no issues at the time of service and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I will no longer use their service when they refuse to correct or admit they made a mistake in billing.

    Called and scheduled appointment at 2 pm. After getting notification in email and message confirming time sat in lobby for half hour. Talked to receptionist after waiting and they told me appointment was 2:30. Still waiting and approaching 3.

    Im giving 3 stars because dette and Dr. B are great. The staff is awesome! The girl with the blue hair is so nice and friendly. But I AM giving three stars because while I was there with my mom to get her exam, the lady vanoka was extremely rude she seems to have no respect for the team or management and thats really sad seeing as the team is awesome and so friendly. Ive been taking my mom here for a while and was the first time seeing that lady (vanoka) and she definitely gave a bad first impression. Hopefully she starts treating dette and the staff better. Hate to see good people treated bad.

    I was impressed with the examination, the process and the printouts received. I had a seemingly good interview with a gentleman regarding frame selection, however, when I called him back two days later, having decided on contacts instead he said he needed to cut the call short promising to call me back. He did not so I called the office the next day hoping to place the order. He was not in so another rep picked up the call and she promised she would would pick up the account or get someone to call me back. Still waiting on a call.Gave up on waiting so I called HQ in Houston. This has been going on for a week and a half. The reason no order has been placed is I'm now told I need to reschedule an appointment for contacts. Since I advised during my initial visit (Lasik eval 1st) that contacts were a possibility it would have been helpful if they would have done that eval at the same time. Their clinic is 30 miles away so I'm less than excited about making another visit.

    I had laser cataract surgery in August of 2015 at the main campus of Mann Eye Clinic. After several surgery follow up visits, they put a schedule of yearly exams. At each yearly exam, they performed multiple tests and my pupils were dilated allowing the optometrist to truly examine my eyes. Except for one of the tests, it was billed as a yearly exam fully covered by insurance. After having missed a couple of years due to Covid, I decided I needed to get a yearly routine exam. Instead of driving to the downtown location, I chose the Pearland location which I will never do again. Rather than perform multiple tests like the main branch, they performed one. My pupils were not dilated and the exam was about as routine as one could be. However, rather than bill it as the fully covered routine yearly eye exam that it was, they billed it as diagnostic and treatment and charged me over $200. I have disputed the claim with my insurance as I believe this was erroneous. They did half as much as I receive at the main branch and charged way more for it. My visit included about as routine of an eye exam as one could get and should have been covered as a normal yearly eye exam. While the doctor was pleasant, the billing was inaccurate.
