    For the record, Dr. Ryan has been an excellent doctor, great rapport, answers all my questions, course of treatment is satisfactory, etc. My problem and question is why did the receptionist, who checked me out on June 22, 2022, insist on me presenting my drivers license along with my credit card so that she could make a copy. I asked her why was it necessary for her to ask for my drivers license and to make a copy. She replied, because the credit card company requires a copy of the drivers license. I called the credit card company to inquire about this and to see if a new policy had been instituted because I have NEVER had this happen to me prior to today.The credit card company told me that they DO NOT require a copy of the customers drivers license. This is NOT a policy of this credit card company. I WANT TO KNOW THE MOTIVE BEHIND THIS WOMANS ACTIONS TOWARDS ME! Is this the policy for Mann Eye Clinic. I have used this very same card prior at this clinic and was not asked to present my license in order to make a copy for the credit card company.

    Eye exam fine covered by tri west va insurance but when went to look at new glasses they said they dont take my tri west insurance so I could get new glasses lol yes Dr was covered but no glasses

    UPDATE: So I am very unhappy with my prescription. I called at least 2 weeks ago. I have yet to hear back from anyone. I am using really old, uncomfortable glasses. I explained my situation and I have not been given any grace yet. So at this point, I am still waiting for support.Staff were friendly, patient and thorough with general eye exam. The while visit took almost 3 hours. There was quite a delay that morning but they were apologetic and didn't rush my services. They were not able to send my current glasses to have the new lenses installed. They were able to provide be with a provider who was able to help. Overall, I will go back and give them another try next year because of the awesome staff!!!

    8/2/2022. My previous review was ok; but now this is an update.Update: My daughter had an appointment at the same office last week. Her appointment time was 8:40; and she wasnt seen by the doctor until 10:30 or so. Then the doctor saw her for all of a few minutes.They are lacking customer service, by not respecting their patients other commitments. My daughter was late for work because a simple eye exam took so long.I had to question the receptionist about the time. Nobody even apologized to my daughter for the delay.I need to change my review to mediocre.My time was interrupted as well.

    Had a technician not practice good hand hygiene (rubbed her runny nose on her hand and refused to use hand sanitizer or wash hands when asked). Also she sent at least 3 text messages while doing my evaluation. Disappointing in the behavior when we've spent so long getting through a pandemic.
