I had cataract monovision surgery performed on both eyes at the end of 2023. The right eye with distance vision is great. The left eye was done for close up vision Nov 29. To be able to actually read close up (which was not a problem pre surgery), I now need a pair of magnifying glasses because the prescription used was apparently incorrect. On my checkups at the Tomball office I was offered no reason why the close up was bad but to just use more eye drops. Makes sense, right? The surgery place was great but I believe the optometrist at the Tomball store was the fly in the ointment. There was never a lot of concern. If I had it to do over, I'd go to an independent optometrist for a second opinion.

unfortunately, i cannot give this office a 5-star rating. Dr. was awesome and very informative, staff was great.... when i was there. The 3 stars comes AFTER i left. Dr prescribed me some drops and the front staff had said that once i got home i could call and give them my Pharmacy info. When i called, the receptionist Haven who answered the phone said there was no Rx, I asked if i was calling the Tomball facility because the TWO front office receptionist at the office when i was there KNEW about my RX and had said i could call in with my info and now no one knows anything about it, and she said yes it was the tomball location i was calling, and that only AFTER i had given my pharmacy info would my Rx be sent in, gave my info, no Rx at the end of day. 2 days later still no Rx at my pharmacy, and no i didn't go in the morning i went to my pharmacy at 6 PM to give the office time to send it in. was impressed at first, but now im more disappointed.

Two issues with last visit. I have been a client since y'all were Mann- Berkely in downtown Houston in the late 90s.1. I did not receive my receipt by email as promised.2. I did not see Dr. Wright as promised and specifically asked for (when I made the appt) to check my eyes. He has performed multiple surgeries on me and I value his judgment. I trust this is not a pattern but a special circumstance?

I highly recommend getting LASIK at Mann. The staff were great and I had a quick recovery. I would not, however, recommend them for your routine eye care. Both times I've been to the north location I've had to wait an hour to be seen despite scheduling my appointments in advance. It's also hard to reach out to ask questions (have to go through a chat bot to maybe get to someone).

Need to do better with scheduling, after initial intake with assistant. I waited 90 minutes in the hallway to see the Dr.
