Overall appointment with doctor and assistant fine. I waited a long time to see the doctor though. 30 minutes after my appointment time. No bueno.

Dr.Green in the Medical Center was excellent. Her explanations made it easy to understand what was going on in my eyes. BUT, I bought a pair of glasses and the frames were almost $600. I loved the frames and they came with a 1 year warranty. The frames broke while on my face, driving to work. i returned the broken frames to the location where I bought them A week after returning the frames I received a call from Mann Eye offering to to replace the frames for $285, close to half of the cost. Their explanation was that the warranty covered manufactures defects and that most manufacturers defects occur within the first 90 days. And that since my glasses were almost 8 months.old that they were not covered under the warranty. My first concern is who determined that there was not a manufacturers defect and how did they make that determination.Any company that will not honor it warranty and contracts is not a company worth doing business with.

I went there for a couple years. I had cataract surgery there. My surgeon was awesome. I saw several doctors there they were all great until I saw Dr Mann. There were some issues after my surgery and they called in Dr.Mann to check out my eyes. For me he was a little bit odd, and even worse when he left the room and kissed me on the cheek. Just did it for me I found that disturbing, rude and downright questionable. My husband was in the room with me he was bothered by it also. I used to love going in to see dr. K. But I have now switched to Berkeley as I cannot bring myself to go back in that office. This happened a couple years ago and it still bothers me.

It's a friendly facility.The reason for the three stars is it could do with a clean in the consultation rooms.

My concern is related to the wait time. I was asked to arrive 30-minutes prior to the appointment, which I did and was seen an hour later. I would give a 5 star for my physician (Dr. C. Chang), as I feel she is awesome and I have been seeing her for years, but something has to be done about the wait period.
