Horrible Horrible office. I'd rather go blind rather than go back. After my ins switched, I was referred to them. Went in for an eye infection. They refused to give me a new script for glasses or contacts. That had to be a separate appt. Fine. I asked about the cost for the contact prescription. Oh, they'll talk to you about that when you come back. Really? Fast forward to the appt for the new script. Its $150 or we dont give you a script. HUH? How was I supposed to prepare for that and bring $$? When I told them I'd asked at the last appt they told me no, they ALWAYS tell patients about the fee. Its on a sign in the waiting room. I demanded to see the sign... huh must have gotten moved. Plus, they were SO RUDE. Bad mouthed my old Dr. The appt was run by a student w/o disclosing the fact and everything had to be redone by the dr. It took more than 2h for a simple exam. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN! I'll pay cash to go see my old dr.

The New England Eye Center has been such a good experience for me.As a health care worker, I really had nothing to complain about. Dr.Wuis wonderful, she takes as much time as needed to make you feel goodabout your decisions. The staff are very professional and caring when performing exams. The Coordinator, Christine McMahon was also so professional and helpful.

He did laser surgery for Macular degeneration causing scar tissue. My left eye is permanently scared. This happened 11 years ago. My brother recently went to him also for Macular degeneration treatment, also laser. Dr Reichel hit a blood vessel bursting it causing permanent damage. Please people do your research. Do not go to this ophthalmologist. Go to Mass Eye and Ear.

Dr. Hedges is literally no less than a genius. Without his expert knowledge, experience and advice, I may not have vision in my left eye today. I will continue to sing his praises and recommend him to anyone who may be in need of his services.
