Really hate to leave a bad review, but this office calls for it. Although my last experience here was terrible, I'll start by highlighting Dr. Kopani. He is WONDERFUL! Probably the best interaction I've ever had with a doctor. He is caring, attentive, validating, informative, and generous with his time. We need more medical professionals like him. I went in last month for a swollen, red, and painful bump on my inner eye lid. It was very scary to me. Dr. Kopani was great. Only issue with the first visit was the wait time, for which the entire staff apologized for. They said it was just a busy day, right before the holidays. My follow up visit was a few days ago. I brought my partner with me because the bump had gotten worse despite the eye drops I had been using 4x/day, and I felt very anxious (knowing it could potentially be cancerous). My appointment was at 8:30. We arrived at 8:20. 9:30 rolls around and we're still waiting to see the doctor. I told the receptionists that we unfortunately had to leave, as we had been waiting an hour and both had to get to work. One receptionist tried to help by informing another staff member, but the other receptionist was rude and unprofessional. She attempted to make me feel stupid for expecting to be seen at or near my appointment time. She said I should have expected for this appointment to be an hour and a half long process. So the process involves waiting for one hour? So if my appointment is at 8:30, I should just arrive at 9:30? What is the point of having an appointment time? I empathize with a high volume of patients and being busy due to the fact that Dr. Kopani is only in office one day a week. But this is a sad, unacceptable reality for our healthcare system. And this staff is unabashedly displaying that. They don't care that patients have absurdly long wait times because they get their money either way. I've spent more time at hospitals and clinics than I would have liked to, yet I've never had this kind of experience with wait times or being spoken to like I'm an idiot for believing that appointment times should be honored. Maybe I've been lucky in that regard, I don't know. But I do know that I will not return to this clinic. Such a shame because I really respect Dr. Kopani and live within walking distance. Don't go to this clinic unless you have two hours of your day to waste.

Dr. Thakore is the best opthalmologist I've met. She truly is a primary care doctor for the eyes and treats the whole eye, not just prescribing glasses without taking into account the overall state of the eyes. I am very grateful for Dr. Thakore's expertise, patience, gentle manner, and deep commitment to her patients. Thank you!

My eyelid surgery was to correct drooping eyelids. Stitches were poking out of one of my lids post surgery and had to be removed in the office. One of the stitches is still visible and would have to be removed in an operating room. I'll go to someone else to correct it. Also, my eyes no longer look the same - one eye is now smaller than the other. I do not recommend her as a surgeon.
