Excellent doctor. Dr. Liang is very patient, thoughtful, and congenial. Dr. Liang knows her profession well, and is a SUPEARLATIVE eye surgeon. I had cataract surgery, and she greatly lowered my eye pressure (Trabeculectomy) and NO problems since. She is meticulous with her eye exams and wants to be thorough as possible. I will miss her great positive attitude and confidence.< as I have had to move, and can not travel to Framingham anymore.

Though not an established patient with this practice, the staff were kind enough to grant me an emergency visit to remove a contact lens that had been embedded in my eye for nearly 3 weeks. The medical secretaries were professional and efficient; the the technician was thorough, and the doctor treated me promptly, capably, compassionately, and without pain. The office, too, was spotless. I highly recommend New England Eye Center of Cambridge for your ophthalmic needs.

I went in for routine injection that I have been receiving for 3 years with another provider with no problems, my regular Doctor was away so they referred me to Dr. Desai. I wish I had waited, she placed a pressure patch on my eye after injection because I have recurrent corneal erosion which normally they place a contact bandage for me. She refused me the contact bandage and insisted on the pressure patch I went home to experience pain consistent with a corneal tear went back and she placed another pressure bandage on my eye. I missed a week of work due to her negligence, experienced 3 days of excruciating pain, light sensitivity which left me having to cover both my eyes completely, and ended up with a contact bandage from my regular corneal specialist which helped immensely except now I'm left with permanent blurry vision which was not the case before.
