I was referred to Dr. Mann by my Allergist. I thought the overall performance by Dr. Paul Mann and his optometrist were adequate and 5 days after the procedure I feel like it was successful even though I still have shooting pain in my eyes and the staff still has not figured out how to get their discount card to work with Walgreens as I have still yet to receive the prescription drops they prescribed to me for after the procedure. Very bad communication here.During the whole process I spent probably 10 minutes total with my surgeon Dr. Paul Mann. Five minutes during the consultation and five minutes on the day of surgery. This was not how the experience was sold to me by their sales person Ashley Hassen. A lot of overselling the experience from what is actually going to happen. Which I suppose is any good sales persons job so I cant fault her too much. They have definitely figured out a conveyor belt type of experience where they are cranking out procedures here by the dozens and you definitely feel like youre just a number.I found the staff to be very rude. On the Morning of my surgery this was particularly true when I showed up at 8 AM and wasnt even greeted with a hello or good morning. All the receptionist said to me was do you have your waiver filled out when I explain to her that I never received a waiver to review and had a consultation just two days prior she just got argumentative and replied did you not get a folder? Which I did not. I was blown away by this as this is not a Procedure that is covered by insurance. This is a $5000 out-of-pocket procedure but the staff treats you as though youre just another number and your insurance is paying for it.It reminds me of when I go to my general practitioner. Im not even sure Dr. Mann remembered my name on the day of surgery.Like I said at the beginning of my post, I think they have had years of success here and build up a very successful practice and I believe the procedure was successful But I would not go to them again nor would I recommend friends or family. Having surgery done on your eyes is a scary proposition and one where the last thing I want to feel like is Im being hurried through so the doctor wont be late for his golf game and treated like Im just another number.

Not a great first experience. 2.5 hours for an initial exam and consultation. Lots of waiting, multiple times for each portion of the visit, even though there was never more than two other patients in the waiting room. The office was in disarray, and they tried to do part of my exam in the waiting room! At the end, when I had to ask twice for my exam results, I was told their printer isn't working, and they'd mail them. On the plus side, the doctor seemed very knowledgeable and took his time going over options. I may very well have a procedure done there in spite of a less than stellar first impression. Oh, one other thing: I got an email from them asking to take a survey to give them feedback. It then takes you to a simple question: would you recommend us to a friend? If you answer yes it takes you to public review sites, if no it asks you to tell them directly what they can improve. My fear is that's why they have such high reviews...Also, the last person they had me wait in the waiting room to see was their money guy. He straight up lied to me about how much they usually charge for the procedure we were discussing. He said they were offering me a discounted promotional price but the price being offered was the same as their normal rate that at least two other people paid for their procedures at vastly different times. And no cash discount vs. their 18 month no interest financing since it was a promotional rate (which doesn't make sense anyway.)Update: It's been almost two weeks since my visit and I still haven't received the test results they promised to mail so I felt compelled to knock off another star (from 3 to 2). When I called in to inquire, the operator sent me to someone's voicemail...Update 2: They gave me a contact lens to take home to approximate how well I'd see after the procedure. It's not much better than I see without anything, and absolutely still need reading glasses. Definitely won't be getting the procedure done there!

I called to get information about getting my wife's eyes examined an getting new glasses. After getting the information I asked the lady about using an existing pare of frames. I was informed there would be a $40.00 charge to use my own frames. I can not see any reason to pay to use frames purchased from this company less than two years ago.

The doctor was great however I waited 1 hour 20 minutes to actually see the doctor for a follow up appointment. The first time was a 2 hour appointment. I will go somewhere else mainly because my time is important. I see this as a management issue of over booking the doctor. Again Dr Chang is great and she has helped my dry eye issues but I don't have time to sit and wait so long to be seen.
