I have had lasik about 15 years ago. I called today to get an appointment to have it done again. I wanted Loden vision to do it because they have the best reputation. They told me that because I'd had it done before that I would have to pay $200 for the exam just to see if I could have it again, let alone if I could afford it. I'm not wasting my hard earned money. It's not fair, if I hadn't had it before I could get a free consultation. I'm very disappointed in Loden vision!!

Went for a screening to see if I was a candidate for LASIK; they had my appointment for another day in a different month...even though I had an email confirming the day and time I showed up. They worked me in. Met with Dr. Loden, and really liked him and his honesty. I was not a good candidate for LASIK, but felt wearing a contact in one eye would help. They made me an appointment for the office in Gallatin for a contact fitting and told me it would be $60-$110. I arrive at my appointment to be told I would have to have an eye exam for $99 (when Ive already had my yearly eye exam elsewhere) and then pay the contact fitting price on top of that.

Took around 1.5 hrs for a standard contact lens exam. Only about 3 others in the office. I'll try somewhere else next year...Edit - went back to pick up contacts and they are randomly closed today. Avoid this place.
